Jaime Lannister has always obeyed her father and followed her brother. Then she is wed to Robert Baratheon, war hero, and more importantly, newly crowned king, and begins to question what it means to be queen if she is always to be ruled by men, be they Lannister or Baratheon, kin or husband. (In which it is Jaime and Cerion, not Jaime and Cersei, and Robert Baratheon and Westeros find themselves with a different sort of queen entirely).
