He was as Sam had been: torn from the inside out, broken beyond repair. This was the state in which Gadreel had breathed life into him, and now the least he could do was to return the favour as well as a human being could. And just like him, Sam knew Gadreel had made this choice himself, but it only seemed fitting - he'd been denied his death. Now Gadreel, as far as Sam was concerned, would have his denied in turn.
